| The extensive, $360 million upgrade of Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort for Hutchison Lucaya Ltd. addressed a variety of the 7.5-acre site's structures. A new 50,000 sf. Colonial Manor House welcomes all guests to the complex. The existing Grand Bahama Beach Hotel was renovated to provide space for the resort's new 500-room Sheraton Hotel. The existing Lucayan Beach Hotel was renovated and converted into a new convention center, hotel and timeshare property. The changes included extensive concrete repairs and strengthening. In addition, a fourth building was demolished to make way for a new concrete tunnel-formed building containing a 700-room Westin Hotel. Several one-story concrete and masonry buildings were constructed, including four new restaurants. Additional site building components include: a water slide, elevated aqueduct, children's entertainment center, central services and police and security facilities.
