This new $1 billion, 3,900,000 sf mixed-use complex is located on a 14-acre brownfield site in downtown Flushing, Queens. The complex includes 1,200 residential apartments, more than 900,000 sf of retail and parking for more than 2,600 vehicles. The project combines a full-block three level retail base with residential units located above. The six 11-story condominium towers sit 70 feet above street level and are situated around the perimeter of an elevated park. The residential buildings will feature a mix of apartments. Built at the site of an abandoned manufacturing and warehouse facility, the project is expected to anchor the area’s revitalization efforts. Podium levels are framed using structural steel, while the towers above are concrete clad in glass panel wall. The project is being constructed in three phases.
