Jamie Jin joined DeSimone Consulting Engineers in 2007 as the Managing Principal for its newly established Hong Kong/Asia Division. Mr. Jin has over 23 years experience in structural engineering and project management. He has designed and managed various engineering projects ranging from the $145 million award-winning Milwaukee Art Museum Quadracci Pavilion with the world- renowned architect Dr. Santiago Calatrava to the $1 billion Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. His extensive experience includes commercial, institutional, industrial and governmental buildings and structures with various building systems, construction techniques and development projects. He also has extensive experience in post-tensioned concrete, complex and specialty structures, investigations and evaluations of existing structures, structural renovations, alterations and repairs, as well as property condition surveys. Mr. Jin received his BSCE from Tongji University in Shanghai, China in 1984 and his MSCE from South Dakota State University in 1992 and is a registered Professional Engineer in several states. He is an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAoIL). |
