| Mr. Plechaty joined DeSimone in 1995 and is an Associate in the New York office. During his tenure, Mr. Plechaty has been involved in major renovations as well as large, new construction projects. His extensive knowledge of renovation techniques has helped bring complicated projects to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner. Mr. Plechaty's recent work includes The Standard, a 22-story luxury boutique hotel that is currently being erected over a historic elevated railroad in Manhattan's Meat Packing District; 455 Central Park West, a landmark renovation project in Manhattan; and the renovation of the Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South also in Manhattan. Mr. Plechaty received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Buffalo, State University of New York and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York. |
