Mr. Goldstein joined the firm in 1985 and worked in DeSimone's New York City office until 1990. He is currently a Senior Associate in the firm's Miami office. DeSimone projects managed by Mr. Goldstein include: the South Terminal Expansion at Miami International Airport, Atlantis Resort, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Westin Diplomat Hotel and Spa in Hollywood, Florida.
Mr. Goldstein received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration, from Cornell University. At Cornell, he was President of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society. Mr. Goldstein is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Florida, as well as a licensed Threshold Inspector in Florida. Mr. Goldstein is a former President of the Miami-Dade Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of ASCE's Florida Section. The Florida Section named him Engineer of the Year in 2003. He is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Florida Structural Engineers Association and the American Concrete Institute. He served as President of the ACI South Florida Chapter in 1996.
