Description
DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our New York City headquarters. The candidate will use all forms of media and communication to achieve significant increases in brand awareness and to improve both internal and client relationships.
Essential Functions
- Assist in writing and editing press releases, newsletters, speeches, articles, case studies, and information for websites and social media.
- Research, write, and coordinate weekly firm and project updates.
- Maintain and update internal and external media outlets including website, intranet, blog, social media, newsletters, and various announcements
- Coordinate various corporate and industry events
- Coordinate award submissions
- Perform organizational and marketing duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field
- Experience with both traditional and digital marketing channels
- Experience with social media outlets

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, file management, and time management skills
- Strong command of English grammar, composition, spelling and proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience with ConstantContact or other email marketing platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- Experience with event coordination
- Marketing experience in the A/E professional services industry
