As a Director, Amy Peevey is responsible for actively developing, facilitating, and supporting the firm’s building envelope services through close coordination with the Forensic and Facades Practices. Her 20 years of experience with new and existing building construction projects includes complexities such as rope decent access, confined space investigations, and historically significant buildings. Mrs. Peevey’s expertise encompasses forensic and building maintenance services, new construction and building envelope commissioning, as well as, litigation support for many sectors of the construction industry including residential, industrial, commercial, educational, and healthcare.
Mrs. Peevey’s specialized expertise in building envelope services allows her to develop comprehensive solutions for each individual client and project. These solutions may include field evaluations and testing, new design document packages, construction administration services, and expert testimony. Mrs. Peevey’s comprehensive understanding of the building envelope, coupled with a building science and structural background, gives her the capacity to execute a unique, effective, and innovative approach to each assignment.
Mrs. Peevey earned her bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She regularly authors and provides instruction within the engineering, design, and facilities management industries on topics related to the building envelope. Throughout her career, she has also been an active member of several professional organizations and has extensive speaking experience in many forums. As an expert, Mrs. Peevey has testified on numerous building envelope matters.
