Lokanath Nagaraja joined Desimone in 2007 and is a Senior Associate in the firm’s New York Office. He has over 17 years of experience in structural engineering, designing new structures and renovating existing buildings, with a specific focus on high-rise structures.

Mr. Nagaraja is working on the design and management of several tall, mixed-use developments in New York and New Jersey. Notable projects include a 1.5-million-sf, mixed-use development in Jersey City with a 650-ft-tall tower; 250 Water Street, a 950,000 sf mixed-use development with a 350-ft tall-tower; 311 W 42nd street, a 500,000 sf, 30-story mixed-used building; and 70 Hudson Yards, a 1.2-million-sf, 650-ft-tall office building.

Mr. Nagaraja’s experience also includes Sendero Verde Building B, a mixed-used development with affordable housing, a school, and public spaces in New York City; Hotel Riggs, a renovation project involving the addition of a roof top unit to an existing building in Washington DC originally constructed in 1900; and The Standard at South Market, a 230,000 sf luxury condominium in New Orleans.

Mr. Nagaraja earned a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from The University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University in India.
