Vijay Krishnaswamy is an Associate in DeSimone’s Las Vegas office. He has over 16 years of experience, including hotel and casinos, educational facilities, stadiums, airports, and convention centers. He has extensive experience in concrete and steel structures and high seismic zone detailing.
Mr. Krishnaswamy’s current projects include The Dream Hotel in Las Vegas, a 20-story luxury hotel with 525 guest rooms, multiple amenities, and a casino space located across the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign; as well as Pinnacle at MacDonald Highlands, a twin-tower, 25-story condominium located in Henderson, Nevada with 170 units and parking.
His project experience includes Circa Resort and Casino, comprising a 44-story, 777-guest room hotel, and a two-level casino including a range of restaurants, a multi-level pool amphitheater, and a stadium-style sportsbook; Resorts World Las Vegas, a resort on the Las Vegas strip with a large casino, 3,800-room hotel, retail, restaurants, 3,500-seat theater, convention space, a pool deck, and three parking structures accommodating approximately 7,000 cars; The Miami World Center, a 3-million-sf mixed-use project in Miami, Florida; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a 604-ft-tall 6.5-million sf gaming and hospitality project located in Las Vegas, Nevada; and Las Vegas City Hall, 8-story, 300,000-sf public sector building located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Krishnaswamy earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bharathiar University in India.
