Crains New York – Flushing Commons is Coming To Queens

DeSimone’s and Perkins Eastman’s project, Flushing Commons, is the last development project of the Bloomberg administration. The project will be a 1.8 million sf mixed-use development providing a central green public space in Queens.

Development of Flushing Commons is expected to create more than 2,600 construction jobs and 1,900 permanent jobs, incorporating low impact development techniques and green building technologies.
