Curbed NY – P.S. 62, a Net Zero School

P.S. 62, our Staten Island project with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, is a net zero school that will produce as least as much energy as it consumes, and possibly more. The school will be the first net-zero energy school in New York City and one of the first of its kind worldwide. The 68,680-square-foot, two-story school will serve 444 pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students. When completed, the cutting-edge building will harvest as much energy from renewable on-site sources as it uses on an annual basis.

The P.S. 62 project was featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Real Deal, and CurbedNY.  For details on this $70 million undertaking follow the links to the articles.
