Winners are chosen by a panel of respected judges from various construction disciplines to ensure a balanced viewpoint and a fair result.
On the subject of DeSimone Consulting Engineers’ contributions to structural engineering in the region, the MEC judges and event issued a joint statement, recognizing DeSimone as a long-term player, having established a reputation for creative thinking and innovation.
“Since 2015,” they added, “[DeSimone’s] UAE-based engineer’s headcount has grown by ninety-percent, and the judges applauded the fact that the women make up forty-percent of its UAE based workforce. In the period between September 2018 and September 2019, the firm has worked on a variety of key projects, including Al Wasl Tower and Ha’il Water Tank Tower in Saudi Arabia.”
