The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce has awarded P.S. 62, The Kathleen Grimm School for Leadership and Sustainability, as Best Green Project in the 55th Annual Building Awards for Excellence in Design & Construction.
Located in Staten island, the project accomplishes the first net-zero energy school in New York City and produces the same amount of energy as it consumes by utilizing an array of sustainable and low-energy features.
