475 Fifth Avenue475 Fifth Avenue is a 24-story building, built in the 1920s. The building was recently under renovation, requiring designs from structural engineers. The challenging job was to remove a column between Levels 1 and 2 located in the middle of the lobby. Using an innovative preloading approach, DeSimone was able to successfully remove the column from the ground floor of the building. Read more
