- An 11-story luxury mixed-use project containing 1.2 million sf, occupying almost an entire city block in Washington DC
- Consists of a five-star Ritz Carlton Hotel with grand ballrooms and a conference center, 175 luxury condominiums, and an elaborate four-story, 40,000 sf landscaped courtyard
- Also includes three levels of health spa facilities, including a swimming pool, basketball courts and squash courts, as well as street level retail and restaurant space, and a four-story parking garage below grade
- The building uses a cast-in-place concrete structural system combined with areas of post-tensioned slabs and beams
- The structural challenge was to incorporate the different program spaces of each portion of the building into one structure without sacrificing the features of any single component
