- A 19-story, 204,500 sf luxury boutique hotel located over the High Line, in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking district
- The building’s structure consists of cast-in-place concrete
- A transfer system spanning the High Line is located at the fifth floor and enables the above floor construction
- This transfer system required the use of grade 65 steel to accommodate the 114-foot length
- The project’s elegant East Pier is a 5-foot thick, 57-foot tall architectural exposed concrete member
- Poor soil conditions required a deep foundation system
- The proximity of ground water close to street level necessitated the implementation of a heavily reinforced bathtub-type foundation
